Daily 4 classes ( 1 hour and 30 minutes each class time ) , within which an overview of the basic theory of Agri tourism, introduction of various concepts under Agri tourism management, introduction to hospitality, along with the focused area Agri and Rural Tourism Management.

Brief Profile – Pandurang Bhagvanrao Taware
Fourth generation farmer and first generation entrepreneur, Pandurang Bhagvanrao Taware, is natively from small Village Sanghvi in Baramati Taluka, born and brought up in joint family of 50 members. His childhood was immersed fully in farms and village, playing with domestic animals, taking them to graze, washing buffalo’s, and playing all kinds of rural games. His father’s desire was that Mr. Pandurang should study in agriculture and do some work for betterment of the farming communities in India. But He studied Computer Science and worked in hospitality industry for 20 years. In 2003 he married agriculture with tourism and launched Agri Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) with model Agri tourism Centre in Baramati. After running Agri tourism operations successfully for three years, he took on training and skill development in Agri tourism for other farmers in Maharashtra, as of March 2020 he has replicated this idea of Agri Tourism on 628 farms in more than 300 villages and 29 districts in the state of Maharashtra. The Agri Tourism Sector Survey done by ATDC in 2018 , 2019, 2020 shows that 0.47 million, 0.53million ,0.79 million tourists have visited these centers respectively , totally generating 55.79 million Indian rupees to farmer’s family, generated 7103 jobs to women and youths in the rural communities.
ATDC (Agri Tourism India) Project’s OBJECTIVES are
1. To develop and promote agricultural tourism (Agri-tourism),through ATDC’s projects, training and support as a potential vehicle for diversifying and stabilizing rural economies.
2. Creating jobs, increasing farming community income, providing a broader market base, opportunities for on-farm employment so they do not have to migrate to urban areas.
3. Agri Tourism income to improve their livelihoods, traditional forms of art and music in rural areas 4.Increasing awareness of local agricultural products, enhancing understanding of the importance of maintaining agricultural lands there by strengthening the long term sustainability of small farms.

He has also been widely featured on various television channels across India, radio and national dailies. He is a regular speaker at various International and National conferences and has been the Speaker – TEDx at Goa. He has been delivering lectures in colleges and universities encouraging taking up rural entrepreneurship. He shares the mission of promoting agriculture tourism to achieve income, employment and economic stability in rural communities in India, to help boosting a range of activities, services and amenities provided by farmers and rural people to attract urban tourists to their area, thereby providing opportunity to urban people to get back to the roots.
